100 YEARS OF FOOD ADVENTURES

Image
100 years of food adventures:  Grand Central Market - LA Yes! you heard it right,  GCM opened up its doors in 1912.  With a mix of traditional and Urban foods, this place is certainly have been popular amongst all generation and cultures.  Their choices of vendors that serve all types of food for every taste bods and diet restrictions such as: Vegetarian , Vegans and gluten free.  We visited this fun, historical place a weekend ago and I must say i wasn't disappointed plus it was super "gramable".  I decided to get the Pineapple fried rice from STICKY RICE II (  https://www.eatstickyrice.com/  ) while my Husband had the taco plate from TACOS TUMBRAS A TOMAS.  I def. recommend Grand Central Market  for a fun filled day with special someone or with family. https://www.grandcentralmarket.com/

Must have summer skin care product: Guinot

Image
Guinot: has been my favorite skin care this year.  Even though I am not big on skin products (and I know I should be given that I need to take care of skin).  But this product is so easy to use that even the laziest of us (me) could make time to use these. Featuring my favorite 2-step routine for day/night skin care. Trust me this Parisian brand will blow your mind.  STEP 1) CLEANSER:  Macrobiotic Cleansing Foam - cleans and purifies and normalizes oily skin  STEP 2) MOISTERIZER: Crème Hydra Beaute - a long lasting moisturizer that re-hydrates and helps the skin retain moisture.     Visit for more details: http://www.guinotusa.com/

Flavors Of India

Image
Southern Spice - Indian Kitchen  https://www.southernspiceirvine.com/ This Indian restaurant had a very rich interior decoration that transport you back to india.  when we went there for a dinner date, we felt like we traveled thousands of miles to a restaurant in India.   The interior maybe fancy and upscale , however the experience setting is very casual and cozy.   And food options were immense.  Top right: Tikka Briyani     Bottom right: Beef Gongura

Weekend Away : Palm Springs Edition

Image
Front Door of Avalon Hotel Palm Springs Hubby and I took a short trip to Palm Springs  for our 2nd years anniversary and after much done research we stayed at Avalon hotel ( https://www.avalon-hotel.com/palm-springs/ ) A mid-century modern hotel w/ black and white interior and fun pops of color with cactus and palm trees everywhere. Going away to somewhere close like Palm springs for a romantic getaway is a great way to spice up your romantic life as well as getting much needed vacation.
